When a baby first comes into this world, it knows nothing (other than life's essentials of breathing and sucking....ok, so they know how to cry too). Watching a baby learn is absolutely fascinating, and it happens in the blink of an eye. Its as if, in one moment, it all clicks....all of a sudden, they get it! They are smiling, laughing, holding up their head, cooing, pushing up when on their belly, eating from a spoon, finding their hands and feet, and holding toys. These are just a few of the things that Allie has learned to do in the past 4 months.....It breaks my heart to think that I can never go back and see her as a newborn baby with skinny little chicken legs and tiny hands and feet, but watching her learn something new everyday brings more joy to my life that I could have ever imagined.
